The latest evolution of the Contessa quick release attachment is the new Steel Insert System technology, steel inserts to guarantee maximum hold on each slide and absolute repeatability of the calibration.
With the new system, the locking points on the slide or on the weapon are entirely made of hardened tri-alloy steel, which ensures maximum stability and absolute repeatability of the calibration between one release and another. Technically speaking, steel inserts have been added so that all the parts in contact between the attachment and the slide are steel on steel.
Contessa quick release bindings can now be considered the lightest steel bindings in the world. The light alloy only serves to support the rings and is no longer part of the clasp. This new technology of ours allows us to obtain maximum stability of the support, more clamping force and absolute maintenance of the calibration between one release and another even over long distances. This technology has been adopted in all three lines of quick releases, European Standard, BLS and Picatinny.
The internal geometry of the locking bracket has also been updated, which allows for extensive adjustment on the width of the slides. A set of new geometries that have increased the performance of the product. From now on it will therefore be the characteristic of all our products.
